Our continuum of services works with youth as a whole person, to identify issues, set and accomplish goals, and work to prevent future problems. Do you need help? Contact us!

Basic Needs

Nutritious meals and snacks, clothing, showers and hygiene supplies, bedrooms with space for personal belongings and a sense of safety that results from having positive interactions with caring adults.

Family Mediation

Trained staff facilitate conversation between youth and their families, aimed at reconciling tension in the home.

Independent Living Skills

An annual set of workshops focused on long-term skills for self-sufficiency.

Drop-In Center

A safe space for youth after-school to access snacks, tutor, positive activities and get connected to needed resources.

Education Support

Assistance with continued school attendance or enrollment in GED or alternative education programs; access to JSYSI’s Youth Education Program offering academic tutors both on- and off-site.

Service Learning

In-depth, hands-on learning opportunities for youth, including volunteering throughout the community.

Mentoring

Volunteer Mentors are consistent adult role-models and spend one-on-one time each week in the community, together with the youth they’ve been matched with.

Positive Activities

Recreational, educational, or cultural activities on-site and in the community.
